The Client’s vision gave rise to building a new Spanish style home on this nestled site for their growing family and frequents guests. The design team collaborated with the Client to create a unique home of Spanish eclecticism that combines old-world craftsmanship with new-world style. The plan concept is one of open space, fluid circulation, and interconnection to the outdoors. The design is unified by the use of arches, courtyards, plastered walls and custom hand-hewn beams, windows and doors. Influenced by Moorish and Andalusia architecture, the forms, patterns and color palette are applied to the mix of antique and modern furnishings.
