National Library Week: Roseland Library

To provide a temporary home for the Sonoma County Library's Roseland Branch, ABA collaborated with Bisbee A+D to convert a former video rental store into a lively and functional library space. Our design team infused the library with the lively Latinx culture of the Roseland neighborhood through bright colors and playful patterns. Plus, we made sure the space is accessible to everyone, with ADA-compliant features and upgraded HVAC systems for maximum comfort. From the flexible community room that can accommodate a range of activities to the thoughtfully designed spaces for adults, teens, and children, every detail of the Roseland Library was designed to meet the unique needs of its community.

In the summer of 2021, the Roseland Library's interim location in Santa Rosa celebrated its opening as an essential resource for the community. At ABA, we believe that every space has a story to tell, and we're proud of our work with Bisbee A+D in writing a chapter for the Roseland community's library.
