Anderson Brulé Architects was founded on the belief that by innovating the services we provide, starting projects by defining a problem before it is solved and with a focus on the clients’ vision of design excellence, we would form creative partnerships with our clients and thrive as a business. In our 32 years, ABA has created a business model that continues to advance and thrive beyond the conventional. We provide enhanced architecture, design and planning services to our clients in the health and wellness, education and community/not-for-profit markets.

Expanded Leadership Team
As we move toward our 40th Anniversary, ABA is deepening the quality of our design and planning services with more dedicated Principal project leadership. Continuing the foundation of providing clients with the best strategically-informed design solutions, we are pleased to share that Lee Salin and David O’Brien have joined Pamela Anderson-Brulé as Principals and co-leaders of the firm. They join long-standing Associates Krista Nelson, Garry Cross, and Jason Hull at the core of ABA’s leadership team.

Lee Salin, AIA, has 30+ years of experience in Education, Community, and Institutional projects providing clients master planning and architectural design services. Well known in the architectural industry as the 2015 President of the American Institute of Architects California Council and a firm leader at HMC Architects for 20 years, Lee understands and effectively communicates the array of issues, challenges, and options facing institutional clients today. Lee’s clients value his leadership to navigate the planning and design process to create quality projects that best meet user and community needs.

David O’Brien joined ABA in 2015 after a long standing and successful career at Stanford University and Stanford Medical Center where he directed institutional strategic planning and analysis services. The past year has been an exciting one, Dave has successfully expanded ABA’s Strategic Planning practice to include integrated strategic planning and resource planning for Community, Education and Healthcare clients. Dave’s planning expertise and insights from a former client perspective enable him to uniquely guide our clients in identifying the key issues, goals, and strategies to position them for increased success.
