The Santa Cruz Sentinel reports on demolition for the existing Aptos Branch Library, clearing the way for the $14 M replacement building designed by ABA. We are very excited by the opportunity work with the Aptos community to create a new library that will not only be larger than the original with an exciting mix of updated spaces for print and digital collections, the library will offer a mix of community spaces, reading areas, a gallery, and features developed in partnership with the Aptos History Museum. And it will be designed for Net Zero energy performance, reflecting the community's environmental priorities.
