Kimberly Bascos

Project Manager

While initially drawn to sociology, a presentation by an architect on the topic of design for homeless shelters inspired her to change focus to architecture. 12 years later, Kimberly has established herself as a skilled and inclusive planner whose big picture thinking and analytical abilities guide her work in ABA’s education, community, and healthcare practices. Her ability to analyze information to find hidden connections, paired with her strong verbal and graphic communication skills, are equally valuable assets in her work crafting facilities and master plans. She is also adept at helping clients find creative opportunities to achieving their goals during the process of defining their needs – as Milton Berle said, “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.” Altogether, her efforts as a planner consistently set strong foundations for designers to translate needs into beautiful and functional built realities.
