Dasha is interested in design’s ability to stimulate critical thought, the weirdness of individuals, and the uncanny overlaps of (sub-)cultures. Her cross-scalar and multi-media approach to space is the result of a perpetual fascination with modes of human communication, collaboration, and cohabitation. Studies in Art History, Linguistics, and Architecture resulted in an emphasis on rigorous research into culture and history as departure points for the design of architectural form, planning concepts, and community engagement events. She is excited to join ABA and to learn more about its focus on community architecture and strategic planning, as expressed through both its practice and projects.
