Julio Leiva is a recent graduate from NewSchool of Architecture and Design, with a Bachelor in Architecture and a minor in Construction Management. In 2017, he was awarded with the Henry Adams Fund Certificate of Merit, an award to the second-ranking graduating student in each architecture program accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board.
His philosophy is to incorporate idea-oriented designs where enhancing the human experience is a core purpose. Julio is always willing to learn new technologies to broaden his understanding on how current techniques and strategies can be applied to the design process.
He likes to be socially active in the local community, and recently joined the AIA Silicon Valley Chapter and the emerging professional committee. In his spare time, Julio is probably watching a soccer game, spending time with friends and family, planning his next trip, or studying for my ARE exams.
