Job Opportunity - Marketing Intern

You should be prepared to:

  • Dazzle us with your design/graphic abilities
  • Learn to prepare and produce qualification, proposals, and presentation materials to win that project
  • Work with technical staff to develop thoughtful and detailed proposal sections and scopes of work
  • Help to prepare and maintain accurate firm collateral including project cut sheets, project data and staff/consultant resumes
  • Work with the Director and Graphics staff to plan marketing event activities
  • Assist and develop communication activities such as brand management, website updates and social media marketing
  • Learn to coordinate specialized consultants for proposals/qualifications and other events (photographers, etc.)
  • Research target markets
  • Be committed, have a can-do attitude and be a successful member of the ABA team

Skill Sets / Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational / interpersonal skills
  • Strong written/editorial skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Solid proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Basic website/social media editing skills
  • Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures (preferred but not required)

Education

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred at a Junior or Senior Level.

This is a paid position.

This position is 3-6 months in duration depending upon the student/school.
