The Mercury News recently named San Jose’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library as one of the 10 most beautiful libraries in the Bay Area.

As the project’s associate architect, ABA led many of the project’s planning and design phases. It was developed as a first-of-its-kind joint-use library for both the City of San Jose and San Jose State University, and it serves as a model of seamless library services between the entities. And, as you will read, it boasts unique special collections of materials from Beethoven and John Steinbeck, and is home to the famed California History Room.
