King Library celebrated it's 20th anniversary on September 20th, 2023. The event, emceed by San José City Librarian Jill Bourne and SJSU King Library Dean Michael Meth, was jam-packed with musical and dance performance as well as guest speakers including California State Senator Dave Cortese, County Supervisor Cindy Chavez, San José Mayor Matt Mahan, SJSU President Cynthia Teniente-Mason, and City Councilmember Omar Torress.
A project near and dear to ABA's heart - we guided the development of the library's pioneering joint-use service and operational model and was part of the subsequent design team for the building - we are excited to celebrate this milestone anniversary.
