ABA Designs New Cancer Center for WHHS and UCSF in Fremont

Project spotlight

ABA is pleased to share our collaboration with Washington Hospital Healthcare System (WHHS) and their partner, UCSF. The expanded 15,000+ square-foot cancer center was designed to help meet the growing need for advanced cancer care in our community. Our team has worked closely with the Center's medical directors to develop plans for a modern facility featuring an OSHPD 3 Infusion Center and a pharmacy with USP <797> and USP <800> compliant compounding spaces.

The design focuses on enhancing patient comfort and experience, incorporating natural light, views of the surrounding area, and a welcoming atmosphere. We've carefully considered every aspect of the patient's journey, from arrival through treatment. The expanded center will include 17 infusion bays, three private treatment rooms, a centralized waiting area, and spaces for interdisciplinary care providers.
