Encompassing 14,000 sf, the 2-story Welcome Center at Monterey Peninsula College replaces a previous building on the site and looks forward to serving both campus and community with a vibrant mix of gathering spaces, offices, workstations, multi-purpose rooms, and collaborative work areas along with amenities such as a meditation/prayer room, lactation room, and food pantry/vending.
With a strong presence and sense of place, the Welcome Center is poised to serve students throughout their entire academic journey at MPC while also providing a highly visible gateway into the campus.
On September 17, our Sr. Project Manager Jason Hull, AIA joined the Beam Signing Ceremony at the Monterey Peninsula College Welcome Center. This tradition marks a moment of pride and community, as the beam now carries the signatures and messages of everyone who helped make this project possible.
